Welcome to Another Kind World, founded in 2017 by creative director, James Chester. Starting with the @Another___Kind Instagram page, James curated a collection of his favorite references in Art, Design, Fashion, Film, and Photography, sharing his personal collection with the world. As his audience grew, he transformed the space into a sanctuary, offering a calming escape through curated visuals. Aiming to educate, inspire, and honor the origins and history behind each image.

Moving into the future, Another Kind World was born. A creative direction agency led by James Chester, offering a unique vision in image consultancy, curation, and research. Collaborating with brands and personalities in Fashion, Music, Photography, Film, Beauty, and Technology, we draw inspiration from the past to shape future innovation.

Another Kind World wishes to explore new ways of curating vintage shopping experiences. Digitising private archives of fashion, books and art and making them globally available. 

We want to cater to those who appreciate History, Craftsmanship and Design, looking to buy something they wish to treasure, wear and use forever. We want our audience to experience purchasing pieces to build their own collections and develop an individual sense of style.
