Detail: Strapless black mini dress crafted from floral lace with a fitted boned corset bodice and flared hemline. The design is accented with multiple leather buckle straps across the bust and hips, creating a bold, bondage-inspired silhouette. The structured shape and textural contrasts give the piece both elegance and edge, making it a standout statement garment.

Closure: Side hook-and-eye fastenings on the corset with an additional concealed side zip on the dress for secure fit.

Provenance: Designed by John Galliano, Dior SS2004 was a mixture of chaotic layering, sensual draping, and utilitarian grit. Featuring Mini cargo skirts, belts-as-skirts, ultra low rise bottoms along with military jackets, metallics and utility harnesses that were paired with draped silks and lingerie. 

Eva Green was pictured at the 2004 London premiere of her film The Dreamers wearing a variation of this design in white leather, styled with fishnet tights and boots.
