Provenance: Dolce & Gabbana's SS2005 collection was a marriage of boudoir, baroque and rustic Mediterranean elegance, featuring lots of lace, brocade, and eyelet textures for tactile richness - looks were layered with rosary necklaces, gold crucifixes, veils, headscarves reminiscent of traditional catholic iconography.
