Provenance: Versace’s Fall/Winter 1999 collection designed by Donatella Versace was a landmark moment that marked her distinct voice as the house’s creative director after Gianni Versace’s death in 1997. This collection delivered heightened sensuality, futurism, and refined glamor, whilst still referencing the baroque, print-heavy styles of the Gianni era. Whilst variations of this blouse appeared on the runway - this particular blouse featured exclusively as part of 'The Group' – shot by Steven Meisel for Vogue Italia, July 1999.
